The epros®SprayCoating method provides a consistent and sustained seal for corroded surfaces.

A polyurea-based ambient-cure two-component coat is applied via a heated 2- component high-pressure airless spray gun system, which processes the highly reactive liquid components.

The excellent handling properties of the liquid components, which react within a few seconds, ensure easy coating even of difficult structural geometries.  The system has a high coating efficiency and works at ambient temperatures below 0°C where other systems tend to fail.

The resultant coating gives an elastic and tight high-resistance seal across the whole surface with the following benefits over other systems:

Cement mortar coatings tend to form cracks after a relatively short time under vapour pressure or due to structural movements and will rather soon require follow-on high-cost repairs, whereas the epros®SprayCoating system will permanently bridge cracks of up to 0.5 mm thanks to its high flexibility and elasticity.

This coating performs much longer than grouted or polyurethane-coated surfaces. The non porous coating is resistant to chemicals like fuels, biodiesel, light fuel oils (EL) as well as used or unused engine oils.

Thanks to their high humidity tolerance, eproCoat SB and eproCoat SBA can be applied even in most difficult conditions.

SprayCoating with eproCoat SB and eproCoat SBA (antistatic) is optimally suited for the repair of manholes, settlement tanks, concrete structures, man-entry pipe systems, tunnels and steel structures.

The antistatic eproCoat SBA type is used for avoiding ignition hazards from electrostatic charges in potentially explosive locations, e. g. in petrochemical  refineries, wash & cleaning stations, oil pipelines, tank pits, containment structures and marine offshore platforms.
