The epros®DrainPacker method is suitable for the sectional repair of damaged buried gravity sewer pipes and pressurized pipelines.

Applications:

Leakage with or without groundwater infiltration or exfiltration at pipe joints, pipe walls, lateral junctions etc.

Offset pipes, cracks and debris, ruptures

Mechanical wear

Corrosion

Benefits:

Repairs damage in the pipe and joint region over a length of 0.5 metres to 5 metres even in case of strong infiltration

Enables installers to close lateral junctions.

Repairs pipes of nominal diameters from DN 50 to DN 1200 (DIBt approval for DN 100 to DN 800)

Is also used for egg-shaped pipes of different sizes

Can repair circular and egg-shaped pipes made of concrete, asbestos cement, plastics (PVC, PP, HDPE), cast iron, ductile cast iron, reinforced concrete and vitrified clay.

For repair lengths exceeding 5 metres, the epros® DrainPacker method can be used with overlapping liners on the basis of specific instructions to be observed in such applications.

Optimally suited for the sectional renovation (spot repair) in circular and egg-shaped pipes.

epros® packers are used to transport the epros® resin-impregnated base materials to the points of repair in the sewer pipe.

The epros® DrainPacker offers a broad range of inflatable multidimensional packers for short and lateral connection repairs of sewer pipes. The lightweight user-friendly packers can be readily introduced even through small inspection manholes and cleaning holes.

epros®DrainPackers are available as lateral, short, long and flex packers at lengths of 0.6 m to 5 m for pipe diameters between 35 mm and 1200 mm.

The flexible epros®FlexPackers and epros®ShortPackers allow the service flow to be maintained during the curing process thereby avoiding costly overpumping.

epros®DrainPackers are manufactured with utmost care according to the ISO 9000 series.

Flexible air push rods and adapters are available for all types of packers. So a pipe run can be rehabilitated from just one inspection manhole or access pit. All air push rods and flex adapters are provided with air couplings with retainer ring.
